Distributed Image Cloud Based on Crust
SINSO is the infrastructure of decentralized medical care. Crust is an important partner of the web3 ecology, and we also build decentralized medical applications based on Crust. After years of cultivating in the field of medical imaging, SINSO has a simple and direct idea to build medical imaging on a decentralized distributed cloud, which is not only to change the storage method, but more importantly, this method will subtly change the medical ecology.
In order to allow Crust to directly connect to the medical imaging industry for application, we have built a standard data collection and display middle layer-SINSO Getway. SINSO Getway is a Crust interface version (built on Crust and IPFS) of a medical data aggregator, which specifically includes a front-end display API interface for medical image data. SINSO Getway can upgrade traditional medical business data to Web 3.0. Using SINSO Getway based on CRUST can quickly develop a medical industry standard medical image reading, storage and display system.
The hospital must store the patient’s image data locally every year, and the data must meet the requirements for guarantees and disaster preparedness. With the increase of storage years, the hardware investment and maintenance cost become very high, and because the data storage method is relatively low, it leads to the retrieval speed and efficiency are very low. It aims to help patients build a durable distributed storage cloud that use SINSO Getway. SINSO Getway provides a front-end H5 browser that doctors can log in with their mobile phone, WeChat or APP or PAD to quickly query the original patient data and write diagnostic reports anytime and anywhere. At the same time, the AI intelligent diagnosis interface is reserved, which can assist doctors in preparing for diagnosis, greatly improving doctor’s office efficiency and patient satisfaction, reducing the rate of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis, and reducing hospital personnel costs. Generally, the cost of CT/DR examination includes 1–2 films, but traditional films contain too little image data. In order to obtain more accurate images, patients may need to do enhanced CT or MR, which will increase the number of films to 4–5. The medical expenses are greatly increased, and patients need to carry film with them during follow-up visits and referrals, which is very inconvenient. SINSO Getway adopts a full-sequence and full-storage architecture to provide patients with a full-process lossless digital film.
After the Crust network is stored and the data is confirmed, SINSO Getway can provide data sources for the data transaction layer of the SINSO Donors network. Establishing a decentralized patient data trading market is SINSO’s core goal. Before uploading data, we support encrypted storage of patient data to prevent patient privacy from leaking and improve information security protection. The donors network provides a data pre-classification template to make better classification and planning for data applications.
SINSO has a full set of technologies that integrate cloud computing in the DICOM3.0 standard of the medical industry. Combining CRUST distributed cloud can give birth to new applications.
