Great news! The Application for the first batch of SINSO Mainnet Upload Nodes is now open! Limited to 50 spots. First come, first served!

Why Join as SINSO Getway Upload Nodes?

SINSO Mainnet has accumulated 5,000+ staked Storage Nodes, but currently, the number of Upload Nodes is still limited, which are mainly deployed in North America and South Korea. This may pose a bottleneck for the future rapid expansion of our business, as Upload Nodes will directly determine whether SINSO can realize the practical value of distributed network storage.

Distributed Storage Upload Nodes are responsible for handling file upload tasks in a distributed storage system.

They play a crucial role and have the following functions:

A. File Reception and Distribution

As the entry point for files, Upload Nodes receive files uploaded by users and distribute them to other nodes. This process includes file verification, fragmentation, and transmission to other Storage Nodes. While our Upload Node count is currently limited, we are unable to meet the criteria for large-scale network concurrency. Expansion is desperately needed.

B. Distributed Storage Load Balancing Management

Upload Nodes distribute uploaded files to other nodes according to system policies and algorithms to achieve data redundancy backup and load balancing.

C. Data Integrity Verification

Upload nodes are responsible for verifying the integrity of received files. They check file integrity and verification to ensure that the uploaded files have not been tampered with or corrupted. If the file is incomplete or damaged, the upload node will request the client to re-upload the file or initiate automatic repair.

D. Upload Performance Optimization

Upload Nodes can pre-process received files to optimize upload performance. For example, they can compress files, encrypt them (in conjunction with third-party plugins), to reduce data transmission size and improve upload speed. Additionally, Upload Nodes can select suitable transmission paths and nodes for upload based on network conditions and the load of storage nodes, thereby enhancing overall upload performance.

In summary, distributed storage upload nodes are critical components of a distributed storage system. Their role includes receiving, distributing, managing, and ensuring the integrity of uploaded files, as well as optimizing upload performance and monitoring the execution of upload tasks. They provide crucial support for the reliability, redundancy backup, and performance of the distributed storage system.

Simple Intro to Application Process

2023/7/5–2023/7/12 File out the Application Form

2023/7/12–2023/7/17 Qualification Review

2023/7/17 Whitelist Released (SINSO official twitter & email)

Since 2023/7/17 Upload Nodes building

Configuration Requirements for One Upload Node

8 cores 64g

Bandwidth >200m

Disk >10T

Required Staking: 10000 SINSO /node

Note: each Upload Node must have an independent IP (foreign), and network must be stable

P.s. Upload Nodes need to receive and transfer files, requiring high IO throughput performance. If the machine configuration is small or the network is unstable, nodes may go offline, thereby directly affecting earnings.
