SINSO GETWAY: to Establish the 2nd Milestone
— API and Valid Data Aggregation
SINSO x C.I. COMMUNITY AMA Recap
The AMA with C.I. COMMUNITY ended successfully on March 31st. Themed on “SINSO GETWAY: to Establish the 2nd Milestone — API and Valid Data Aggregation,” the AMA had Mariya Ebirayim, CBO at SINSO as the speaker.
“SINSO is a layer2 + infrastructure focused on Filecoin Web3.0 ecosystem,” said Mariya, CBO at SINSO. “Our team was established at the end of 2020 and has been working hard to develop Filecoin Layer2 in a down-to-earth manner. In order to help many applications to quickly and smoothly move to Web3.0 from Web2.0 and also to help the rapid development of a truly distributed Metaverse.”
The following are the “key shots” of this AMA:
Host: At the beginning would you like to introduce yourself?
Mariya: I have over 9 years of experience in the Fintech investment industry and 6 years of experience in PR & digital marketing & GBD (Global Business development) with an emphasis on Blockchain and Fintech. I have also invested in multi-crypto projects as an early investor, helped multiple projects as a marketing and business advisor.
Host: Could you describe to us your project SINSO. What is your project about and how can we see it in action?
Mariya: In a sentence, SINSO is committed to building the infrastructure of the Web3.0 Ecosystem and will go online as Filecoin’s first Layer2 network. As we know, Filecoin is the world’s largest decentralized storage and “zero proof of knowledge” network. Up to now, its network capacity has exceeded 15.8EB. But as more and more DAPPs are going to build on Filecoin, bringing the needs of various middleware for DAPPs into the Filecoin ecosystem. What SINSO do is provide a variety of components for developers, offering solutions to efficiency issues in application iteration and migration. A great example can be SINSO Getway with a series of API tools, which has been built to improve Filecoin’s storage efficiency.
Host: What’s the motivation for starting this project?
Mariya: This is a good question! SINSO has its origin in the medical industry. But as we were to solve more specific problems, like the storage of medical data, ownership affirmation of medical record data, etc., we saw more problems cop up. At that time Web3 was still in its early stage and short of various tools. We actively participated in the 1st Filecoin Accelerator Frontier Camp at the end of 2020 to build the Filecoin network as we thought decentralized storage was going to be a key part of Web3. Since then, we have shifted our focus from medical-specific DApp to building infrastructure middleware. We expect more DApps to use our infrastructure, not only DApps from the healthcare industry. Therefore, we adjusted our direction in May of last year, focusing on the infrastructure of Web3.0 first, providing middleware for all Web3.0 projects, and also providing important infrastructure for our medical applications.
Host: What are the Main Features that distinguish SINSO from its competitors?
Mariya: The area SINSO is working on is a whole new frontier and will bring bright prospects for data governance and data programmability. Above all, our core goal is data-oriented tools and infrastructure. In this area, we have data-oriented smart contract governance frameworks that will bring new business formats. Data DAOs, in particular, are a new and uncharted territory of great value, and Filecoin’s FVM environment will be the best fit for this idea and direction. Incorporating Data DAOs into the SINSO DAC framework will yield unusually brilliant results on the racetrack. SINSO DAC is going to be a huge boost to the ecosystem of creators. The biggest difference between SINSO and our competitors is that we are going to take data governance to the next level on top of Filecoin architecture, and there are very few teams of scale to do this.
Host: Can you please provide some progress on your Roadmap and what achievements SINSO has accomplished so far? And any sneak-peek into 2022 plans for SINSO?
Mariya: We entered the Filecoin Frontier Accelerator finals last February;
In March 2021, we released the SINSO DAPP V1.0 demo;
In August last year, Dicom Network entered the final of the Wanxinag Hackathoaan;
in September, we participated in the Chia Hackathon, and won the third place in Asia, launched the SINSO test Network in November. We participated in many hackathons and events in 2021, and we are also actively preparing resources and recruiting partners for SINSO.
In 2022 we will focus pragmatically on research and development, and we will make great efforts and be patient to build our products. We will launch in the first half of this year SINSO Getway’s complete product map. In April, we will continue docking with our ecological partners at the technical level. After June, we will focus on building the Filecoin FVM forward network and launching SINSO DAC architecture on top of FVM.
Host: As you can see from the comments on the tweets, users are paying very high attention to SINSO. Here are five questions we randomly selected from hundreds of comments.
Q1: I saw that many projects were unstable for a short period of time. At first, they started with hard work & good attention, but a few months later they didn’t pay attention to this project. Then it ended there. how does Your SINSO Project plan to survive in the market?
Mariya: The current crypto market is developing wildly. We see a lot of digital currencies on the market, among which there are very few projects that are really solving problems and helping society move towards Web 3.0, so there are many projects whose tokens are only used for trading or staking, etc.
We will have more interesting gameplay to attract community users to participate. Such as Staking, Mining, SINSO DAC, many token use cases (in the medical industry, finance industry, etc), and our ongoing Sonior project.
Sonior is the collective name for a group of contributors to the SINSO ecosystem. As long as you have certain skills in technical programming, translation, copy editing, visual design, community management, etc., you can apply to become a Sonior. what needs to be emphasized is that one of the key requirements to become a Sonior is that you have a genuine interest in the Filecoin ecosystem and the SINSO network. Sonior’s role can be summed up as making SINSO stronger and more impactful through voluntary contributions both within and outside the SINSO community. Through related activities and assignments, you will have many opportunities to learn more about SINSO and improve your professional skills. Excitingly, your expertise will bring the SINSO Network to the wider public and empower the SINSO ecosystem. If you want to become a Sonior, you can sign up through this link, you are always welcome to join the SINSO family.

Q2: What are your advantages over other projects? Is it from a security standpoint or is it the technology you’re using? What are the other benefits of your project? Do you believe that your project is worth choosing? The answer to this question, please, is important to me.
Mariya: As you know, with the development of AI, IoT, VR, and crypto, we’re moving forward to the Web3.0 area (Metaverse) now, it will be a digital area. The most important asset in Web3.0 is not the property, money, is DATA. in Web2, more data is stored on a centralized cloud server like Amazon cloud. But it is not 100% safe for your data.
Filecoin is the first project who did distribute data storage, their data storage capability now is 15+EiB, which is huge! Distributed data storage is the future development direction. And Filecoin is now developing the FVM ( Filecoin ventral machine), which can be compared to EVM. ETH was boomed after EVM went live. Similar, Filecoin, we think, will boom after FVM go live.
Just like Kusama on the Polkadot, Metis on the ETH, they are layer 2 of those networks. And SINSO is the first and only layer 2 project on Filecoin, focusing on the distributed data storage field. Our advantage is that the data racetrack still has relatively scarce projects. We have seen a lot of excellent projects working towards the Filecoin racetrack, but it is rare to see a team of SINSO’s scale and continuous efforts in terms of R&D investment and operation, which is our distinct advantage. The technical application progress will also benefit the security level. I believe I have answered your doubts, and you can make wise decisions.
Q3: What is the most ambitious goal of your “@sinsotech project? What is the ultimate vision that your #sinsotech project is trying to achieve in the cryptocurrency market? Explain to us about that. I would appreciate it if you could share any upcoming updates with us?
Mariya: SINSO is the infrastructure of Filecoin layer2, which is very promising. The original intention of Filecoin was not just to build an Airbnb in the storage industry. From its inherent genetic point of view, Filecoin will give birth to several companies of the size of AWS. SINSO plays an important role in the Filecoin ecosystem, and we will build key infrastructure to enable Web3.0 developers and ecological projects to use Filecoin’s rich resources.
Since the blockchain has long faced up to the problem of bringing data on-chain, many solutions to solve practical problems are imperfect due to the inability to do larger storage data ownership affirmation and on-chain calculation. Most blockchain applications have to store “data”. And before Filecoin, none of the other projects were good at it. Currently, Filecoin is still focusing on perfecting the core infrastructure, lacks a bridge in the middle to effectively connect the application layer, and cares less about the convenience and efficiency of the application layer, which is exactly the problem that SINSO wants to solve. Filecoin’s vision is to store human-valued data persistently.
SINSO is to use this part of valuable data to improve application efficiency and programmability. The programmability and governance of data will be a very valuable area in cryptocurrency, and the market capacity can expand the encryption industry dozens of times or more. Taking the creator economy as an example, a large number of creators need decentralized storage to keep their IP and innovation assets persistently. For creators, Filecoin is an important technical environment for turning data into assets, which has a great impact on the ecology. If combined with the governance of data-oriented DAO, it is possible to make refined plans for the ownership, use rights, and revenue rights of data, which is an unprecedented experience and breakthrough.
Q4: Do you have any plans to add NFTs to your ecosystem as this is the hottest topic in the crypto space?
Mariya: Of course, as NFT is a very typical data asset. If the data of your NFT is deleted from centralized storage (like Amazon), it means that you lose your asset. This is a matter of great concern to us, and we think that what we do is closely related to NFTs. Juan Bennett, the founder of Protocol Labs, said “Not on IPFS, Not your NFT”. This sentence shows that NFT needs to solve the problem of storage, which is a key part of NFT.
IPFS is an open-source file system, and Filecoin is the real zero-knowledge-proof network. When we use Filecoin for storage, we use a crowdsourcing network, not a private network. We need to verify NFT through technologies such as space-time proof for the availability of data and storage space. What SINSO needs to solve in particular is the storage problem of NFTs. At present, there are many platforms for issuing assets based on ERC721, but storage is not a small problem, because it involves complex technologies and consumes a lot of resources. At present, Filecoin already has 15+EB of storage space, but the invocation of these storage spaces is not so easy, which is also the core value of SINSO’s existence.
Our upcoming #SINSO_Getway will improve the performance of the NFT data storage part. With the gradual deepening of the application of NFT, the storage capacity required by NFT has become larger and larger, and the data needs to be quickly retrieved, which shows that the entire industry of NFT is evolving, not only limited to the previous small range, and NFT is not only related to entertainment and digital art. In the Filecoin ecosystem, NFT will rapidly expand to enterprise-level applications, and SINSO will accelerate this process. For example, we can build an NFT from the dynamic data set of the industry, and the data mapped by NFT will be a valuable dynamic data set ordered over a period of time, which is of great significance to industry customers.
Q5: Do token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project? How do you keep yourself motivated for more developments and non-stop work in this Covid-19 pandemic?
Mariya:Great question! We will incorporate all SINSO token holders into SINSO DAC for management. We will establish a DAC architecture system so that token holders can obtain SINSO resources. For example, in May, we will launch the Pledge-SINSO-to-Get-Storage-Resources. This feature will be available for public beta test in April. Various behaviors of community governance and contributions of volunteers will be incorporated into the framework of SINSO DAC so that everyone can make continuous contributions to SINSO.
We will sort out the incentive system for contributors so that everyone can quickly find their contribution entry and actively participate.
C.I. COMMUNITY users showed great enthusiasm for this AMA, they are very interested in the SINSO project and its future development. In the live segment, hundreds of questions appeared in the Community in a short period of time. The following are some of the Q&A between Mariya and the users.
Q1: I have been working in mining and I am very interested in what is happening in SINSO, I would like to know if there is any difference between the current SSC and the previous BSC? Will the follow-up work always be done on SSC?
Mariya: SSC is a more advantageous test chain network than BSC. We have seen in the past that the BSC test chain has been so congested that we simply cannot expand our test network scale on a larger scale. This is a serious problem. We can understand the BSC test chain as a developer testnet that cannot do heavy testing, rather only run some lightweight programs.
SSC is a test network built by SINSO. We will keep this test network forever. SSC is efficient and scalable. When SINSO switches to the FVM main chain, we will still keep this testnet, and we still have many programs that need to be verified in advance on the testnet. Just like Ethereum’s xDAI.
At present, the test tokens obtained on SSC will be converted into real SINSO tokens according to a certain proportion after the main net is launched, so I hope everyone will not neglect to obtain test tokens. In a sense, the testnet will strive to maintain its enterprise-level scalability, and there will be many ecological projects running on it.
Q2: Can you explain the background of your “#SINSO” team? How will you and your team carry out this project during this current pandemic?
Mariya: Our team comes from the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Pakistan, etc. The experience of each of us is very complementary, with more than 20 years of background in the financial industry, medical doctoral experts in the US medical industry, more than 8 years of experience in the blockchain industry, and more. The epidemic will not affect our development at all.
Q3: Where I can get all the latest news about SINSO? Do you have Twitter/Telegram/Discord community? If yes can you share the link here because there are a lot of fake Telegram/Twitter groups?
Mariya: Yes, you can get all our latest official news on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Medium.
