SINSO Weekly Newsletter
SINSO is a Filecoin Layer 2 + infrastructure platform with top technical team members from all over the world. Drawing support from the up-to-date achievements of the Filecoin network, SINSO will expand the middle layer of Web3.0 and solve the application iteration problems caused by Filecoin’s lack of a complete ecological infrastructure system, and propel the transition of a wide range of DAPPs from Web2.0 to Web3.0. Without further ado, let’s get to the highlights of the week!
SINSO Getway API is now in the beta phase. After the test phase, it will be open to institutions and individuals with storage needs, so stay tuned!
SINSO Getway is a DAPP middleware built by SINSO based on the Filecoin ecosystem and is one of the core components of Filecoin layer2. It can help users quickly store data in the Filecoin system and enable fast response to data download requirements promptly. It can be widely used in scenarios with extensive storage requirements such as Gamefi, NFT, VR/AR, and file storage.
SINSO Getway Advantages:
1. There is no need for a nearby IPFS node and centralized storage to build a DAPP, and the distributed secondary cache network space required by the DAPP can be accessed at any time to realize a flexible and low-cost storage strategy.
2. Store high-value data in Filecoin to turn them into data assets and gain rewards.
3. It can be used immediately, the storage resources can be obtained through staking, and there is no GAS fee consumption.
4. Improve the security of DAPP with strictly authorized access.

According to Filecoin’s FVM roadmap, FVM will be launched in a few stages. In the first quarter of 2022, a protocol fork is planned to be introduced, and preparatory adjustments will be made before developers can program it, which will include gas mechanism and architectural adjustments; programmability will be introduced in the second quarter of 2022. Redesigning system roles and making deeper protocol adjustments are in place to make it easier to program against system roles.
On March 28, Filecoin introduced the EVM-compatible Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM), which aims to introduce smart contract programmability to the Filecoin network. As of today, the project has passed the “M0” milestone and entered the “M0.5” stage. With FVM, the Filecoin network will also gain computing power in addition to storage capabilities. With the support of the Filecoin ecosystem, SINSO will continue to provide safe and efficient services for various DAPPs, and join hands with more partners to welcome the Web3.0 era.
This week, the test network nodes are still migrating. The current number of new test network nodes is 1464. We advise you to switch and migrate as soon as possible. In addition to that, SINSO will open a new round of whitelist applications for the Testnet in April. We sincerely invite all Filecoin network developers to join us to build the SINSO ecosystem. For details, please pay attention to the official news of SINSO.
SINSO is making every effort to build its ecosystem and will continue to carry out cooperation and negotiation around NFT, GameFi, oracles, etc., to connect with more ecological partners, and further strengthen SINSO’s ecological capabilities.
